Well, the suspect's mother Zubeida Yusuf, who lives in Mando, Kaduna has spoken and she says her son, Mansir Yusuf, is no terrorist. She said the military mistook her son for a terrorist because he was found wearing female clothes;
“My son is not a terrorist. What is wrong with him is an evil spiritual attack which is making him to prefer women’s clothing and to act as one who is mentally retarded. Everyone in Mando knows that he only has a spiritual condition that is making him to act strangely.
“He often dresses normal from home, but whenever he gets to an uncompleted building, he would go in and change to the female clothes. He usually carries his bag. He has been taken to the Village Head several times and has been flogged in the hope to cast away the spirits, but the spirits have remained and have continued to torment him,” Zubeida told Daily Trust. Nnewi Motorcycle Parts Dealer Arrested With Drugs On His Way To China

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a 39-year old motorcycle parts dealer, Ogbodo Chibuzor David for trying to smuggle 11.06kg of dried weeds that tested positive for cannabis to China.
The suspect who concealed the drugs in various food items was arrested following the discovery of cannabis inside his bags at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos when he was about to board a Qatar Airline flight.

The suspect who deals in motorcycle parts at Nnewi pleaded that he decided to smuggle drugs because someone duped him which made his business collapse.
“I gave a business partner the sum of 30,000 dollars to supply me goods and he disappeared. That brought my business to its knees and I have been struggling to take care of my wife and child since a year ago.
“I met many people for financial assistance but nobody was willing to help until I was wrongly advised. A friend told me to smuggle cannabis to China,” Ogbodo stated.

The NDLEA commander at the airport, Mr. Hamza Umar said the suspect would soon be charged to court.

I'm Ready To Fight"- Wife Of Late Ebola Victim Speaks

Wife of Liberian Ebola Man - July 2014 - BN News - BellaNaija.com 91

It has been revealed that the man who recently died of Ebola in Lagos, is also an American citizen who has a wife Decontee Sawyer and three daughters in Minnesota.

The man lived in Minnesota for about a decade, but moved back to Liberia in 2008 but was scheduled to join his family in August. He was coming back to celebrate two of his daughters’ birthdays.
In an interview with KSTP, Decontee speaks on the deadly virus and how their three young daughters will never get to know their father anymore.

“I don’t want all of this to be for nothing. I have three girls who will never get to know their father.”, she says.
She also said that it is easy to think that Ebola is a problem on the other side of the world, but that is not entirely correct.

“It’s a global problem because Patrick could’ve easily come home with Ebola. Easy. Easy. It’s close, it’s at our front door. It knocked down my front door.”
She hopes the death of husband serves as a wake-up call. “This can happen anymore. I don’t want any more families going through what I’m going through. So I pray, and then I’m ready to fight.

Photos : See What happens When You Are Infected With The Ebola Virus, From Symptoms Of A Common Cold To Bleeding Out The Ears And Eyes

If you have a temperature and no appetite. Your head is aching and you're throat is sore. It may appear as though a common cold is lurking, but unbeknownst to you the vicious Ebola virus has started to attack your immune system.
The virus destroys the same cells as those targeted by HIV, though the Ebola infection is more aggressive, wiping out the building blocks of the body's immune system. It has an incubation period - that is the time from infection to when the first symptoms present themselves - of between two and 21 days, increasing the risk of the highly-infectious illness spreading.

A rising temperature, headache and sore throat are the first signs the Ebola virus is invading the body, attacking the building blocks of the immune system. As the disease progresses, victims suffer blood shot eyes, as tiny blood vessels burst, causing bleeding from the eyes, ears, mouth, and other orifices

Where a victim has breaks in the skin, blood seeps out, as the disease takes hold. The virus has a death rate of up to 90 per cent, and is highly-contagious, spreading through contact with an infected person's blood, secretions, organs and other bodily fluids

As soon as a victim starts to suffer the sudden onset of the disease, the fever, crippling headache and muscle pain, they are already contagious. The virus is transmitted through close contact with the blood, secretions, organs or other bodily fluids of infected animals.
Once a human is infected, the disease can spread quickly within a community, with health workers and family members of victims at particular risk.
The current outbreak rampaging through West Africa, began in a small village in Guinea and since February it has claimed 672 lives, leaving another 1,200 people infected.
It has spread into neighbouring Sierra Leone and Liberia.
And on Friday, U.S. citizen Patrick Sawyer died in the Nigerian capital of Lagos, having travelled there by plane after attending his sister's funeral, after she too died of the disease.
This is now the most prolific Ebola outbreak since the disease was first discovered in 1976.
The fact the virus mimics the symptoms of a common cold in its early stages, is the very aspect that makes the disease so difficult to diagnose.
Within a few days, the early symptoms give way to the next stage of the virus.
Disseminated intravascular coagulation causes clots and hemorrhaging, with clots in the liver, spleen, brain and other internal organs.
The virus pierces veins and capillaries, forcing the blood vessels to bleed into the surrounding tissue.
A patient will suffer aches all over the body, chronic abdominal pain, vomiting and diarrhoea.

Patrick Sawyer, 40, from the U.S. died in the Nigerian capital of Lagos on Friday. He collapsed after getting off a flight from Liberia on July 20 and was isolated at a hospital in the city

Doctor who treated more than 100 Ebola patients dies from the virus

The Sierra Leonean doctor who treated more than 100 Ebola patients has also died. Dr Sheik Umar Khan (pictured above), who was hailed as a national hero for disregarding his own health and helping sick patients, died today July 29th from the disease after being diagnosed with the virus last week. He contacted the virus despite wearing protective gear when treating patients.

In an interview last month, the 39yr old doctor had expressed fears for his life because of his constant contact with Ebola patients.
"I am afraid for my life. Health workers are prone to the disease because we are the first port of call for somebody who is sickened by the disease. Even with the full protective clothing you put on, you are at risk" He told Reuters
His death comes days after a senior doctor at Liberia's largest hospital, Samuel Brisbane, died on Saturday at an Ebola treatment centre in Monrovia. 3 nurses working in the same Ebola treatment centre alongside Khan also died from the disease last week. Several other medics have been infected.

Nobody should come after me because I referred to her as a maid, because that’s what Tonto calls her. Even in her caption this morning she still said the same thing. Her fans have warned her in the past that it’s not right to call someone a maid, but Tonto says, they should get civilized and there’s nothing wrong in calling her that.

But in all, Tonto has been good. And I mean really really good to her.

This Is Why We Will Always Love Don Jazzy...Good Leader

Tell me one good reason why Don Jazzy won't be loved by people?...Too down to earth!..Following the release of their music video "Dorrobucci", many of his fan including Nollywood critic Charles Novia were disappointed which I agree.
The music video lacked good interpretation and anticipation, we expected more but we got less from the music video. In fact I prefer the audio than watching the music video. Charles Novia tweeted his opinion about the music video and looks like Don Jazzy read it and took points of his critic...
Then Charles re-tweeted and thanked him for his maturity...See below..

Davido’s Ex, Nish Kards Releases Raunchy Pictures Of Self

This is very disappointing. I remember I once featured her and Davido when they started their relationship in 2012 which sadly ended so fast. She was such an innocent Ghanaian beauty and most commenters had praised her. Fast forward to 2014, she’s all out posting half n*ked pictures online. Whatever went wrong. More pictures below.

US Doctor On A Mission Infected With Ebola In Liberia Outbreak

A US doctor who has been in Liberia and battling the Ebola epidemic has himself fallen sick with the disease in Liberia, his aid agency said.
Dr Brantly who is married with two children, has been isolated at the group’s Ebola treatment center at the ELWA hospital in Liberia after he contacted the virus.

Samaritan’s Purse, a Christian charity, says the group is committed to doing everything possible to help Dr Brantly during this time of crisis. “We ask everyone to please pray for him and his family, a statement on their website reads”.
The Ebola virus causes severe fever, muscle pains, vomiting, diarrhoea and, in some cases, organ failure and unstoppable bleeding which kills within days.
Ebola is believed to be carried by animals hunted for meat, mostly bats. It spreads among humans via bodily fluids including sweat, meaning you can get sick from touching an infected person.

Patients believed to have caught the virus are mostly isolated to prevent further infection. Ebola first emerged in 1976 in what is now the Democratic Republic of Congo, and is named after a river there.  Sadly, Nigeria recorded its first death on Friday, in a Lagos hospital. Just sad!

Artists Abandoned Kefee’s Burial Because There Is No Love In The Industry- Showkey

Daddy Showkey in an interview with Leadership Newspaper has said there is no love in the music industry and musicians only pretend to love one and another, but when tragedy struck, one will see their true colour. He cited himself has an example, and how artistes shunned Kefee’s burial ceremony which took place in Sapele.

You were at Kefee’s burial, what are your thoughts?
Nothing much other than I was disappointed that artistes did not come to show love to their own. It is not a good thing. The lady died and it is sad for her family. Musicians ought to have showed up and rallied round her people, to show that they care. It was only the gospel musicians that showed up, meaning there is no love in this industry. Nobody cares about you if you drop dead tomorrow. I told you I was away for 3 years because of my spinal cord injury. Nobody came to visit me during that time. No one from my generation of singers came to identify with me and that is bad for a man who has given much to the industry. This makes me think that we don’t care about ourselves in this industry. As the Yoruba people say, Oju aaye ni a nse o meaning, na eye service we dey do to oursefu!
Are you saying you don’t have friends in the music industry?

I don’t have a friend oh. This life wetin my eyes don see, no be small thing oh! That experience is enough to make you cut-off, because when they see me with money they associate with Showkey; but when Showkey had a challenge, an accident- no one could call or say we feel your pain. So me, I no get friend. My friends are those in Ajegunle that we can say the truth to ourselves. It is only Pasuma that I can call my friend- he comes to my house anytime and we chat about things.

I Never Slept With Two Blood Sisters- Desmond Elliot Clears The Air

Actor and politician, Desmond Elliot has denied the claims that went viral some months back that he has been sleeping with two young sisters who were put in his care. Desmond who reacted to the statement in a new interview cleared the airwaves and said he never slept with any of the girls and will never do that because they are like his real sisters. They are family friends, he said. His words;
"I don’t know. It was baseless. The ladies in question are my wards and I take care of them. Do I have to be related to them by blood? We are family friends and we have been family friends for years. Their parents are abroad and whenever they are in Nigeria, they stay with me, so it was a baseless distraction and the person who did the article about me has since apologised," he said.
