70 Teenagers Arrested In Yenagoa During Raid. See What Police Will Do To Them


Here is a picture of about 70 teenagers, aged 12 to 17 who were arrested by the police at criminal hideouts in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. The police said the teenagers were abusing drugs including Indian Hemp and that they were also engaged in heavy drinking of alcohol.

The Imo state police command has arrested a five man syndicate in Enugu state after selling kidnapped children to the highest bidder. The gang reportedly attacked the mother, stole the children from her in Uzoagba in Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo state, took them to Enugu state and sold them to a waiting buyer for N1.1m.

Notorious Kidnapper, Pilot, Escapes From Police Custody In Ebonyi State



One of the suspects who allegedly kidnapped, killed and buried an elderly woman, Mrs Catherine Okorie in Ishiagu, Ivo local government area of Ebonyi state has allegedly escaped from police custody in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State.

Catherine hailed from Ishiagu and was kidnapped in her residence on January 18, 2017.

Court Declares Arrest Of Evans’ Brother-In-Law Invalid, Awards N2m Against Police


The Federal High Court in Lagos on Monday entered judgment against the Nigeria Police Force in the fundamental rights enforcement suit filed by one Mr. Okwuchukwu Obiechina said to be the brother-in-law of alleged kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, alias Evans.

Justice Mohammed Idris, in a judgment on Monday, declared Obiechina’s arrest and detention and constitutional, holding that the remand order which the police claimed to have obtained from a magistrates’ court was invalid.

Vulture ‘Delivers’ Letter To Akwa Ibom Monarch To Quit Throne


Natives of Iba Oku, Uyo local government area of Akwa Ibom state are yet to come to terms with how a vulture allegedly delivered a letter to their village head, Eteidung Gabriel Mbeka asking him to quite his throne.

Following the strange incident, palpable tension has enveloped the sleepy community even as the embattled monarch has cried out for help alleging that his throne and his life are being threatened by ‘sinister forces’.

Speaking to the Nation in his palace, the monarch accused the Clan Head of Oku, Etebom Enefiok Effiong Okpon, of alleged sinister plot to oust him “because he wants to turn my domain into his vassal province”.
