Notorious Kidnappers Who Abducted Female Customs Officer, Arrested.


The police has arrested seven notorious kidnappers allegedly responsible for the abduction of an Assistant Comptroller of Customs in Onne, Rivers state.

On 13/11/2018, Assistant Comptroller of Custom Justina Tanko was kidnapped by a gang of notorious kidnappers and taken to an unknown destination from a Restaurant she frequents.

A Florida woman is facing fraud and conspiracy charges after allegedly getting caught in a scam connected to a Michigan business and a Nigerian man.

WPBN reports Sylvia Williams, 80, was arrested after scamming a Grand Traverse County business out of more than $4,000.
Investigators said a scammer called an Acme Township cleaning company, saying they were moving to the area and wanted to pay for cleaning services in advance.

Confusion gripped residents after a young man reportedly went mad in Benin city, Edo state.

According to reports, the young man alleged to be an internet fraudster popularly known as 'Yahoo Boy', stripped to his boxers and sat on the ground in public while purportedly making some shocking confessions.

The incident which happened this morning at Agbior park by Ohovbe junction in the city attracted a huge crowd of residents who mocked him being that they know him well.

2 Mortuary Attendants, 5 Others Arrested Over Missing Corpse


The Lagos State Police has arrested 2 mortuary attendants and 5 others, over complaints of a missing corpse.

Lagos State Police Commissioner Imohimi Edgal, who paraded the suspects before newsmen at the command headquarters in Ikeja, disclosed that on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018 the Command received a complaint from one Anthony Lawani, younger brother to one Mary Ehinlaiye, now deceased, aged 51 years.

Buhari Receives NIPSS Report On Security - Politics -


President Muhammadu Buhari has received the Report of Course 40 of the National Institute for Strategic Studies (NIPSS) on security.

He directed relevant agencies to study the report on Wednesday and implement the recommendations contained therein.

Buhari had in November 2017 tasked the management of NIPSS with the responsibility of strengthening the nation’s internal security framework through community policing by proposing borders, policy, offence and strategy.

INEC Publishes Hope Uzodinma's Name As Imo APC Governorship Candidate -

 
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has published the Senator Hope Uzodinma's name as the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Imo State.

PoliticsNGR gathered that Uzodimma’s name was pasted at the INEC, office along Portharcourt road in Owerri, with Akaolisa Cyprian Okechukwu, as his running mate this evening at about 7:54 PM.

This development is coming about after 10 hours, INEC, pasted other governorship names of various political parties, excluding that of APC.

A Zimbabwean man was, on Wednesday night, left injured after he was thrown from the third floor of a flat by a hooker, following a misunderstanding over payment for the sex services she rendered.
