A woman has been stabbed at a polling station in Osun state, following an altercation with another lady.

The incident took place at the Lagere area of Ile-Ife in Osun.
The lady whose name could not be verified at the time was stabbed by another voter while on the queue.

He said this while addressing journalists at his official residence in Lokoja, the state capital, on Sunday.

Achuba said he was about traveling to his hometown with his security men when the governor called them for a briefing.

He said on getting to the government house, the governor’s ADC took them to the office of the special anti-robbery squad (SARS) to make a statement.

A woman identified as Ngozi Akakem, who beat and stripped friend for sleeping with her husband, has been imprisoned after being arraigned in a court in Owerri, Imo state.

Ngozi had physically assaulted Nkiru last month and recorded the incident on camera. The video was later posted on the internet after which it went viral.

According to reports, it was reported that two buses carrying sensitive materials to Obot Akara local government in Akwa Ibom state got burnt and two persons were reportedly died.

Two persons have been killed in Akwa Ibom state after an attack on buses carrying sensitive materials to Obot Akara local government area, the buses were accompanied by NYSC corp members who will serve as polling officers in their various locations.

According to reports, Akpomiemie was on his way out with his girlfriend when unknown gunmen ambushed him and shot him dead at close range in the Uvwie Local Government Area of the state last night Friday, February 15th.
