The facts are that the aforementioned boys (hereinafter referred to as “the seven victims”), together with some journalists from different media houses went to Ogidingben in Delta State on Sunday, November 16, 2014, to get first-hand coverage of the crises leading to the cancellation of the commissioning of the EPZ Project by President Jonathan two days earlier. Recall that I raised an alarm last week about the threat by Tompolo in respect of the commissioning of the project by the President. True to the alarm, the President called off the commissioning because of the threat by Tompolo.

Tambuwal Steps Down, Fayose Sacks Speaker’s Aides

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, has confirmed his withdrawal from the presidential race. Tambuwal confirmed this in a statement today where he said he was standing down for the “unity” of his party, All Progressives Congress, APC, and he will be supporting other aspirants seeking the party’s ticket.

The speaker will now contest as the governor of his home Sokoto State, according to a source.

Meanwhile, the Ekiti State Government today terminated the appointment of all aides to the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly. This was announced today by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Modupe Alade in a statement made available in Ado-Ekiti.

Police Arrest Man Who Poses As 'Jesus', Walks On Water In The USA (Photos)

Jesus has been arrested after walking on water in Philadelphia’s Love Park, USA. A street performer Michael Grant or ‘Philly Jesus’ is a local celebrity in Philadelphia’s parks. His favorite pastime is walking on water in the park’s fountains, and occasionally baptizing people.

And although police is convinced that Jesus violates public order, “Messiah’s” supporters are ready to do everything possible to release him out of prison.

According to police reports, Grant was arrested for disorderly conduct when he refused to leave the park. Hundreds of people are now protesting online using #FreePhillyJesus hashtag, to have Grant’s charges dropped.
