Wizkid’s Mansion At Los Angeles Is On Hire He never Bought It

Around 14th of march 2016, wizkid took to instagram to show case a mansion he claimed to have purchased, it made a very huge trend online, and we all celebrated him.

9jaflaver’s top media man, Mr Ejump, had an investigative conversation with one of wizkid’s close friends who also base in los Angeles, on phone, and during the 30 minutes chat with him “thompson” he excluded the real gist behind wizkid’s mansion, claiming that the house which is a neighbouring mansion to his duplex is under higher, that is to say, wizkid didn’t buy the house, rather he hired it.

There is nothing wrong with it though, especially the location of the mansion, but these music artistes should stop spraying lies to our faces.

Exclusive: Wizkid given quit notice at his Lekki Phase 1 home

In 2013, Wizkid showed off his new place of abode and many people, including myself assumed he bought the house. But it's been revealed that he only rented the place...and this is fact. His rent at the 4 bedroom duplex at Ayinde Akinmade in Lekki Phase 1 expired in January 2016 and for reasons best known to him, he refused to renew his rent.

He was served quit notice yesterday Friday April 1st. (His reps collected it on his behalf) and he was given until April 11th to vacate the premises. A source close to the singer said his people had already started to gradually move his things out of the house.

Mohammed Barkindo Nominated For OPEC Secretary-General By FG

The Federal Government has put forward the name of a former Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Mohammed Barkindo, for the position of Secretary-General of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries.

Barkindo worked at NNPC until 2010 and served as acting secretary-general of OPEC in 2006, as well as representing Nigeria at the group.

Bloomberg reported that two persons privy to the development confirmed the nomination but asked not to be identified because it had yet to be made public.

OPEC has tried unsuccessfully for more than three years to find a replacement for the current secretary-general, Abdalla El-Badri, who was due to stand down in 2012 after serving two terms in the role. At OPEC’s last meeting in December, El-Badri’s term was extended until July.

Political rivalries between Saudi Arabia, Iran and Iraq have prevented the cartel from settling on candidates that each of them proposed. The disagreement over choosing a successor flared again at the December 4 meeting as the slump in oil prices heightened tensions over the direction of the group’s policy.

Barkindo “would be well placed in the secretary-general role and could offer a smooth transition out of the current deadlock, enabling the OPEC secretariat to resume operations at full strength,” said John Hall, chairman of consultants Alfa Energy.
