China Bans Children From Attending Churches

           
The Chinese Government have banned children from attending churches in the country.

This is in a bid to tighten their grip on religious activities.

The new directive by the Government also prohibits children from attending religious sermons and other related activities across China.

Sunday Oliseh, makes history as the only coach in Fortuna Sittard to win 6 consecutive Home games

Sunday Oliseh resigned as coach of Super Eagles in February 2016. 
He has since picked up the job of a coach at Dutch Eerste Divisie side, Fortuna Sittard. 
He was appointed as their coach in December 2016.
In a tweet he posted today, Oliseh said he has made history in the club as the only coach to have won 6 consecutive Home games.

Niger Delta militants have warned the Federal Government of the dangers the country would face, if the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, is re-arrested by security agents.

The militants also gave government a two-week ultimatum to release two members of IPOB, Chidiebere Onwudiwe and Bright Chimezie, who had been in detention, threatening to commence attack after the expiration.

It was the first time in the history of the state a sitting governor would fail to receive visitors on Sallah homage in Government House.

The former governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva is pictured relaxing in his palatable mansion in Abuja following the release of his confiscated houses. It was reported that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) returned houses seized during the administration of former president, Goodluck Jonathan in 2013 to the ex governor.

 Aduba Victor Nonso, a 28-year-old ex-soldier from Onitsha North Local Government Area of Anambra State, has disclosed how he spent over N3million which billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike (popularly known as Evans) gave him for participating in several alleged crimes.

According to the ex-soldier, who said he joined the Nigeria Army on August 15, 2009 and was posted to Abati Barracks, women and hotels bills drained the money and reduced him to poverty.

Ola Aina Cleared By FIFA To Represent Nigeria - Sports


Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr said Aina, who can play at right-back or left-back, could now line up in Yaounde as the Super Eagles look for a second victory in four days over Cameroon.

“FIFA have approved Ola Aina, who can now play for Nigeria,” Rohr was quoted as saying by Supersports.com.

Aina, who is on a season-long loan at Hull from Chelsea, was brought in by the Eagles coach to fill the gaps in the full-back positions.

Over 3-years after, EFCC Returns Seized 48 Houses To Timipre Sylva

 
About 48 houses belonging to the former Bayelsa state governor, Timipre Sylva which was seized by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has been returned to him.

The former governor’s houses were seized in January 2013 during the administration of former president, Goodluck Jonathan while Sylvia was being prosecuted at a Federal High Court in Abuja for alleged misappropriation of N6.46 billion state funds when he was governor of the state.

Frank Edoho Dropped As Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Host

 
During the week, it was announced that popular family game show, Who Wants To Be A Million would be back on air with a new sponsor, Airopay.

Saturday Beats reliably gathered that after 13 years of hosting the show, popular broadcaster, Frank Edoho, would be dropped and replaced by someone yet to be unveiled.

An organiser of the show told Saturday Beats that they did not have any problem with Edoho, so it was an amicable agreement.
