Buhari commends Ministries, Securities agencies, others over re-opening of Abuja Airport.
President Muhammadu Buhari has commended the Ministries of Transport,
Power, Works and Housing and the security agencies over the successful
completion of work on the runway and re-opening of Nnamdi Azikiwe
International Airport, Abuja, 24 hours ahead of the scheduled time.
The President also lauded the efforts of Kaduna State Government, the contractor, Julius Berger, and others, on the successful completion of the airport project. Buhari gave the commendation in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, on Tuesday in Abuja.

Rivers State Governor has given the Federal Government an ultimatum of 7 days to return the $43million dollars found in a luxury apartment in Ikoyi to the Rivers State Government, failure which the State Government will take legal measures to ensure that it gets back her stolen resources, declaring that the $43million dollars found in the luxury apartment in Ikoyi belongs to the Rivers State Government.

NDLEA nabs jewellery and auto parts dealers with drugs at Lagos Airport


The suspects according to the Agency are Okonkwo Godwin, 57, an importer of jewellery found with cocaine in his boxer shorts and Nnaemeka David Chinedu, 37, an auto parts dealer who ingested 94 wraps of heroin.

We exclusively gathered that the pan-Africa awards aimed at honouring and promoting excellence in the African movie industry as well as uniting the African continent through arts and culture, has received the nod of governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode to be this year’s host state.

In an interview with the Today Show, Brittany, who is a nursing student, said her abductor threatened to kill her if she didn't withdraw cash from her bank accounts and ATM card. He forced her into her car trunk and was driving her to Birmingham where he was to withdraw the money. He also forced her to give him her PIN number after he found her wallet with her cards in the car.

Passengers feared injured as plane crashes during landing in South Sudan
A plane carrying 44 passengers has crashed in South Sudan. The South
Supreme Airliner burst into flames after crash landing at the Wau
Airport at about 3 p.m. local time. The crash is believed to have occurred when the plane came down to land after flying from Juba to Wau.
