Robbers arrested while arguing over how to share their loot

Three members of a 5-man robbery gang Tope Oyeleye, aka Elede; Abiola Yekini and Yusuf Olohuntoba, aka Ete , were arrested on Monday by policemen attached to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of Agbado Police Division.

It was gathered that Elede and Ramoni, had robbed some houses in Owonikoko and Ayinla areas around 2am on Monday, where they stole money and phones, among other household items.
They were said to have met on a street in Ayinla to share their loot when an argument ensued among them over how to share the loot.

A resident on the street reportedly saw them and called the police, who quickly got tot eh area and arrested three of them.

57 year old man dies onboard an Arik Air flight

According to multiple reports, a 57 year old man identified as Albert Nnadi died on-board an Arik Air Flight that was heading to Lagos from Owerri yesterday December 2nd.

The man was on his way to Lagos for medical attention when he was found dead as the passengers were disembarking from the plane after landing in Lagos. Arik Air confirmed the incident happened and said the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Mortuary.

48 not 500 Nigerians were deported from the UK

It was learnt that 44 men and 4 females were deported from the UK. They arrived aboard a chartered flight, Titan Airways no ZT3931, at 8am at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos State yesterday.
The deportees were said to have been stranded at the airport waiting for family members and friends to come pick them up.

It was gathered that while 26 of the deportees had passports, 22 others were issued Emergency Travel Certificates by the Nigerian High Commission in the UK.

Just yesterday November 19, 2015, it was reported that Mavin records singer, Korede Bello, had his matriculation at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ogba, Lagos, along with other students who matriculated to study at various levels in the institution.

Korede, who actually had his National Diploma in the same institution where he finished last year 2014, had deemed it fit to return for his Higher National Diploma studies amidst his current success in his musical career.

When reporters decided to pay the school a visit to know how things went during the matriculation, it was discovered that Korede, though was in the school for his matriculation but arrived late and was ordered to stand outside along with other students that came late.
report also had it that the singer had wanted to use his status as an entertainer to get into the hall but was pushed out by the security personal that were present during the induction. Since he knew how bad it was, he decided to go sit in his car.

According to eyewitnesses account, the pictures released by the singer online were pictures of the aftermath of the event has he used that to cajole fans into believing that he was part of the event.
It was further discovered that the singer since acquiring the form from the institution to study, has rarely resume for lectures and sometimes goes late for his classes for about six weeks after the school commenced its first semester lectures but only showed up for the matriculation.

Source from students how lectures have been going in the school, they said that they had gone far in studies and were currently preparing for their test after the week of matriculation.

Leader of Agbara bank robbery arrested in Delta state

The Leader of the gang that robbed some banks at the Agbara Housing Estate in Ogun state last week Thursday, has been arrested in Sapele, Delta state. Police sources say operatives of the In­spector General Of Police, Special In­telligence Response Team (SIRT) arrested the gang leader identified as Kelly Rotor at a wedding in Sapele yesterday where he was lavishing his own share of the loot from the bank robbery that saw a pregnant woman and a police officer get killed.

Kelly who was with some of his other gang members engaged the police in a shootout after they were rounded up. A police officer was killed during the shoot out.

Kelly who suffered gun shot wounds, was arrested and is now being interrogated. Police is currently working to get his other gang members arrested.

Kogi APC governorship candidate Prince Audu Abubakar dies

Prince Audu Abubakar, the APC candidate in the state's governorship election which held yesterday November 21st, reportedly slumped and died this afternoon. He is pictured above just yesterday as he casted his vote. According to Sahara Reporters, Audu died of undisclosed medical reasons shortly after INEC declared his victory at the elections inconclusive. Cause of death is unknown. Details later

Alariwo of Africa was reportedly diagnosed with a disease known as Varicocele, which is described in medical terms as an enlargement of veins inside the scrotum.

“People have been speculating about my health lately. Some reports even said I was bedridden. This is not true. I was not bedridden and I have never been. But it is true that I am about to undergo surgery.

I have been going through a lot, these past weeks. My wife has been in the hospital for over one month. She has been down with acute pulmonary embolism. It has been very tough, but God has taken control. The doctors at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital said only a few people could survive the ailment. I am happy that she is one of them.
