Ebola: Family Of Late 29- Year Old Nurse Now Face Public Humiliation & Stigma

Trust Nigerians to over react in matters like this. The family of Nigeria’s fourth Ebola victim, Late Ms. Justina Ejelonu who worked as a nurse at First Consultant Hospital in Lagos before meeting her untimely death, have cried out over the public humiliation they have being facing ever since their sister passed away at Mainland hospital in Yaba where she was isolated.
According to her sister who spoke to Sahara reporters on the phone said, it’s so sad that her husband has been made to go on compulsory leave from work out of fear that he might have contracted the deadly Ebola disease. Her parents and other siblings are also not left out, as neighbours have been carefully avoiding them, she said in a low disturbing tone.

Mrs. Anugwolu also noted that, her late sister did not spend her last days in Enugu but in Lagos where she died and was buried and wonder why they have to face such humiliation from neighbours.
