A Nigerian man was quarantined today in Hong Kong after he showed
Ebola-like
symptoms during a trip to the city. The man who arrived Hong Kong from
Lagos on Thursday August 7th via Dubai, was isolated in a hospital after
severe vomiting and suffering from diarrhoea. He later tested negative
for Ebola.
In a statement released today, the Southern Chinese city government said the 32 year old man, whose name was not given, had "tested negative for Ebola virus upon preliminary laboratory testing".
