LIB exclusive: Why Peter Okoye threatened to expose bank..

About three weeks ago, Peter Okoye of P-Square took to twitter to threaten to expose a bank over fraudulent transactions. He gave the bank 5 days to return his money or be exposed and sued (See that here).

Well, five days has passed and Peter hasn't said anything about the issue again...but I just found out what went down...(get in here for the exclusive details...:-))

Will tell you what happened but will leave out the name of the bank. So in May, Peter Okoye found out that millions of Naira had been withdrawn from one of his personal accounts with a bank leaving him with less than N300k. He met with the management of the bank to find out what happened and they promised to resolve it. Fast forward to August and the money hadn't been returned and so Peter went on social media to threaten.

Immediately he made the threat online, the bank called him begging him not to mention their name, that the money will be refunded soon. They called him for a meeting about two weeks ago and told him to give them 11 working days to refund the money.

Well, the eleven working days has expired and Peter still hasn't received his money. I hear he may speak officially on it anytime soon.

Why Obasanjo Refused To Reveal His Next Of Kin At NIMC Office

Olusegun Obasanjo at NIMC today during the exercise
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo today in Oke-Mosan Abeokuta registered for his National Identity Card (NIC) and decided to keep the information about his next of kin away from the prying eyes of reporters who were bent on capturing his personal data.
Obasanjo who arrived at the National Identity Management Commission office around 1:35pm, quickly had his height measured and finger prints taken. But when it got to the column requiring information about his next of kin, the former president who had been responding orally to the NIMC officials’ questions, picked a piece of paper, covered it with his palm, wrote the name of his next of kin and handed it over to the commission’s personnel.
He then turned to curious reporters and surging television cameramen, and said: “I have decided to keep my next of kin secret and away from you. If you know it, you will give it undue publicity,” the former president said.

Man Jailed 2 Years & 9 Months For Filming Fast & Furious Movie In Cinema

Oh dear, not in Nigeria. I am sure the likes of Tunde kelani and Saidi Balogun who recently told journalists that his new movie which he borrowed money to film has been pirated and has left him broke will feel more sad reading this news. Their counterparts in America got justice, but the criminal here in Nigeria is walking about freely. Though I personally think 2years and 9 months is quite much (my opinion). Okay back to the gist.
A man named Philip Danks has been jailed for 33 months after recording Fast And Furious 6 from the back of a cinema in Walsall. A judge in Wolverhampton ruled that Philip, 25, uploaded the movie, which has been downloaded 700,000 times on the internet.
The Federation Against Copyright Theft (Fact) told the court this meant millions of pounds lost for the film's distributor, Universal Pictures. The judge found Philip guilty and he was sentenced to 33months in prison for the act.
