Robber Begs Woman For Forgiveness After Killing Her Husband In Rivers. Photos - Crime -


A woman whose husband was killed during a robbery attack in his house in Rivers state - met with the gang members who perpetrated the act.

The widow and mother of three children identified as Mrs. Funke Adetutu, met with the hoodlums after they were arrested by operatives of the Inspector General of Police Special Intelligence Response Team, IRT.

The leader of the gang knelt down and begged for forgiveness from the widow who replied that mercy belongs to God and they should ask Him for forgiveness and mercy.

She added that her husband takes care of a lot of people apart from the children and they now have to struggle following his demise.

She also thanked the police team for arresting the killers of her husband.

The new governor of the Mexican state of Puebla, Martha Erika Alonso dies in helicopter crash. She died alongside her husband, Rafael Moreno, on Monday in central Mexico.

President Andrés Obrador confirmed the deaths on Twitter Monday evening.
He offered his condolences to the families of Martha Erika Alonso and husband Rafael Moreno and vowed a transparent investigation into the cause of the Christmas eve crash.

I Will Work For Governor Wike’s Re-Election - Davido


A popular Nigerian musician, Mr. David Adeleke, also called Davido, on Sunday said he would work for Governor Nyesom Wike’s second term in office.

The musician, who made the pledge in Port Harcourt when he visited the Rivers State Governor, said he would also institute a talent hunt show for Rivers-based artistes.

He said the programme would be in line with his discussions with the state government to support new generation artistes in the state.

Police bust Nigerian-led gang that cheated 21 people in India -


The Ahmedabad cybercrime police on Monday, December 9, busted a racket involving six members from Nigeria, Uganda and India.

According to the complaint filed by one of the victims, one Nigerian national identified as Lawrence Okosun,40, sent Kheradiya a friend request on Facebook claiming to be based in London.

The two exchanged phone numbers, started chatting on WhatsApp and became friends. After winning his confidence, the accused informed the victim that he was looking for a business partner in India to help him acquire raw material for his cancer research.

Christmas: Enugu Indigenes Get Free Transport From Gov. Ugwuanyi


Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has announced free transportation for indigenes of the state living in other parts of the country, who intend to return home to celebrate the festive season with their loved ones.

Announcing the welfare package, the Managing Director, Enugu State Transport Company (ENTRACO), Mr. Bob Itanyi, stated that the gesture was “in the spirit of Christmas” and “in keeping with the tradition of this administration to cater for the needs of the people and give them a sense of belonging as the true heroes of democracy”.

Cow Kills Owner In Delta Abattoir - Agriculture -


An irate cow on Sunday in Ughelli North community in Delta State allegedly killed its owner at the abattoir located at Oghenevweta street in Ughelli town after it suddenly went berserk.

It was gathered that the victim, Mohammed Jubrin, was allegedly killed by his cow after cutting the rope it was tied to and charged straight to the abattoir where the victim was busy with other cattle and hit him hard, leaving him in a pool of blood leading to his death before he was taken to the hospital.
