Married Man Commits Suicide In Benue - Crime


A man in his early 50’s, Kula Adasu, yesterday reportedly committed suicide at Tse-Agberagba, the headquarters of Konshisha Local Government Area of Benue State. It was alleged that Jimin Adasu family members had accused Kula of being responsible for the death of Terseer Gyuve Adasu, who died in Makurdi earlier this month and is to be buried next Monday.

Edo: Dead Body Of A Pregnant Woman Found Beside A Football Pitch


The body of a pregnant woman whose identity is yet to be ascertained, was on Tuesday, July 30th discovered beside a football pitch close to the premises of Radio Nigeria (Bronze FM), in Benin, Edo State.

It was gathered that the yet to be identified woman’s body was discovered by a passer-by, along WAEC Road, in Aduwawa area of the city. The deceased, suspected to be in her early 40s, wore a red Ankara attire without any footwear, bag or mode of identification.

According to him, “although Enugu State is currently ranked as the 7th most economically viable state in Nigeria, we seek to perform better for the sake of improving the lives of our people and fulfilling our electoral promises”.

Court Orders INEC To Issue Ben Uwajumogu (APC Imo North) A Certificate Of Return

Man Bags 15 Years In Prison For N5.2m Fraud
Justice Taiwo Taiwo who delivered judgment on the application for the release of a certificate of return filed by Mr Uwajumogu, said the decision of INEC to review the outcome of the 2019 Senatorial Election is a contravention of the electoral act.

The court further held that INEC is bound by law to issue the Certificate of Return based on the declaration of the Returning Officer who announced Mr Uwajumogu as the duly elected Senator for Imo North Senatorial District.
