EME Singer Niyola Survives 3rd Mainland Bridge Auto Accident



First Lady of EME records, Eniola ‘Niyola’ Akinbo survived a ghastly auto accident.
According to Nigerian Entertainment Today, Niyola was driving from Lekki, Lagos, where she had just finished a meeting, in a Honda CRV on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at about 7PM. Niyola had just exited the third mainland bridge on her way to the mainland area of Lagos when the accident occurred at the Oworonshoki axis.

A vehicle which was trying to overtake Niyola’s car hit her CRV from behind, which sent the latter’s car tumbling. The car is said to have tumbled three times before hitting a tree by the roadside.
The EME first lady was immediately taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. The Honda CRV has also been towed away from the accident spot.

A rep of the singer’s has confirmed the accident and also confirmed that the singer wasn’t driving alone but with a friend. The other passenger is said to also be doing fine.
‘Yes, it’s true. But she’s okay. It’s unbelievable that they survived,’ the rep said.
