President Buhari's Top 5 Ministers Who Have Corruption Allegations Hanging On Their Necks - See Full List

President Muhammadu Buhari is perceived to be determined to stamp out corruption from Nigeria, but what is worrisome is the fact that his newly formed cabinet is made up of individuals who are alleged to have corruptly enriched themselves while in office at some point.

Below is a list of Top 5 Members of Buhari’s Cabinet who have corruption allegations hanging on their necks and some with questionable character;

1. Rotimi Amaechi: This Former Rivers State Governor is currently being accused by the State’s Tribunal of Inquiry of looting Billions from the state treasury from 2007 - 2015 to sponsor Buhari and APC for the 2015 polls.

2. Babatunde Fashola: Alleged to have stolen $900 million from 2007-2015. He approved N78 million for a personal website and drilled 2 boreholes for over N100 million each. To crown it all, He built a kilometre road for N1 billion.

3. Kayode Fayemi: Reportedly stole $40 million and stashed some part of the loot in Ghana. He is also alleged to have bought a bed for N50 million. The Ekiti state Ex-governor is currently under attack for wasting state funds on the government lodge.

4. Aisha Alhassan: She has allegation of embezzlement hanging on her neck while she was Chief Registrar of the Federal Capital Territory High Court from 2003 to 2009. She is also alleged to be a serial divorcee who used settlement claims to enrich self.

5. James Ocholi: Likely to become Buhari’s Attorney-General. He is alleged to specialize in defending high-calibre fraud suspects. Reports have it that he represents several controversial clients including an Indian accused of defrauding several Nigerian banks of billions of naira
