Hours after Associated Press broke the news that INEC has postponed that
presidential election which was billed to hold next week Saturday,
February 14 to 6 weeks from today, INEC took to their twitter to debunk
the report saying that the electoral body is still in consultation.
Meanwhile
police has beefed up security at INEC headquarters where Prof. Jega is
currently holding closed door meeting with parties concerned where he is
expected to decide whether the presidential election will still hold on
February 14th as earlier scheduled.
