He was said to hae slumped while being welcomed by officials into the bayelsa state government house yenagoa. Sekibo and thee members of the INC members were scheduled to meet the bayelsa state governor ; Seriake Dickson at 3.00 today over the lingering crisis that has continued to trail the October 28 Ikaw Youth council (IYC) elections .
The INC leadership under Sekibo have called for cancellation of the election conducted recently that produced a president said to be loyal to governor Dickson.. nigerian current learnt that Sekibo slumps at the government house but was taken to federal medical centre , though there was a government hospital close by, Sekibo was pronounced dead at the FMC and his body has been deposited at the hospitals morgue
