Read The True Story Behind The 16 Year Old Girl Who Was Caught Having Sex With 52 Cultists In Anambra State!

A story about a girl who was caught having sex (or being gang-raped) by a group of 52 Men who were alleged to be cultist which made headlines in a popular newspaper website on the 17th August 2015 has been investigated by Anambra State Online and it has been discovered that the story is totally untrue and reeks of falsehood.

An in-depth investigation led by our team of media correspondence in Anambra on seeing the story online swung into action by paying a visit to the Anambra State Police Command Awka in, Command Headquaters Ziks Avenue Awka to see things for ourselves but on getting there and making inquiries, we were told that there was no such incident as falsely and maliciously reported by the Sun Newspapers.
In order to be double sure, we put a call to the Commissioner of Police in Anambra State in person of Mr Hassan Karma who reliably informed us that nothing of that nature occurred.
"I am not aware of any incident of that nature. If anything like that happened, the officers under my jurisdiction would have alerted me on it" Mr Hassan Karma said over the phone.
We further probed the CP by informing him that according to the newspaper, he said that the arrest was made in reaction to an "intelligence tipoff"...a statement which Mr Hassan vehemently denied.
"I said i am not aware of anything like that. I am the only Commissioner of Police in Anambra State except there is another one who is impersonating me who granted the statement to the newspaper you are talking about which is not possible."
Anambra State Online also perused the story and discovered a lot of inconsistencies in it such as the area where they were caught!
According to the report, the cultists were apprehended in a bush in Awka. What part of Awka were they caught?
How is it possible for a female human who is conscious and alive stand sex from 52 men all at once without passing out from the ordeal?
Secondly, in relation to effective and confirmatory journalism, the reporter who went to the bush or the station (as the case may be) should have taken photos of the said girl and the suspected cultists and (or) the items including guns, machetes and several wraps of Indian hemp which was recovered from them during the said initiation. The photograph which was featured on the story was that of some unidentified policemen where one of them was pointing to an undisclosed object or person, A picture which must have been gotten from anywhere on the internet.
Thirdly, as at noon on 18th August barely 24 hours after the report was released, no other national tabloid of repute carried the news both on their papers or even online apart from other cheap Z-List "copy and paste" blogs whom must have siphoned the content word for word from the Sun Online.
Finally, the reporter identified the CP of Anambra as HOSEA Karma instead of HASSAN Karma. The Commissioner of Police in Anambra is a Muslim and not a Christian in reference to the name "Hosea" which is a Christian name. What a shoddy display of unprofessional-ism and falsehood!
It is also interesting to note that this fake story by the Ghost reporter from the Sun Online comes in the heels of the news about the demolition of brothels in Anambra by the Chief Willie Obiano led administration who is stopping at nothing to rid the state off unwanted elements. This to us seems to be a ploy by haters of Anambra to truncate the accolades from a positive event and re-diverting the attention of the public with a non-existent negative one by all means.
Anambra State Online hereby demands that the Sun Newspapers retracts the false story and tenders an unreserved apology to the people of Anambra State with immediate effect and also effect disciplinary measures against the unidentified "Ghost Reporter" who did not even put his name in credit of the story according to their stipulated policy in relation to such an event.
We therefore ask the peace loving indigenes of Anambra and the general public to disregard the story as it has already been refuted and denied by the Anambra State Police Command.
The story is part of a desperate agenda by enemies of Anambra State who will stop at nothing to dent the good image of our dear state which has been brought to light by the unrelenting and arduous efforts of our amiable Governor Chief Willie Obiano who has brought our dear state out of the doldrums.
